one pair of shoes each and twenty eight yds of cloth, domestic, for those four. Daniel received nothing. Dr. Crisp promised me clothing for myself and family extra besides my wages. I have stated all I received. I never received any money from that time to this. When I left Dr. Crisp after Christmas I called on him for my pay. He told me he had no money and could not pay me till he sold his crop.
