asked him several times for it. He always told me he never had any money. I heard from the other hands that had asked him and he told them the same. No inducements have been offered me to present this claim. I have done it of my own free accord - I know of no hands that were ever threatened by Dr. Crisp on account of asking him for their wages. I never was with the rest of the hands much of the time -
