T. J. Hanson sworn

I was present when the bargain was made between Dr. J.H. Crisp & A.S. Crisp of the first part & Thos. C. Hanford & Chas D. Willard of the second. 

He is a citizen of Fayette county & State of Texas.  At the solisatation of A.S. Crisp I rode down in company with one of my one employers Thos C Hanford to show him the plantation as the party of the first part were anxious to sell out and leave the county.  I was present when the parties made the bargain. Dr. J.H. Crisp drew up a statement of the stock tools impliments & number of acres of growing crop.  

T.C. Hanford & myself made an estimate of what each and every artical was worth.

The estimate was the same as on the bill of sale.  He said that each and every artical was there, & in fact if any thing would over run the amounts, especially the cattle, hogs & sheep

He was positive that there was more but would put them at the mentioned numbers so as to be shure, that nothing should be short.  

He would garrentee every thing to be as he had represented.

He stated that his son & self were equal partners & would satisfy every
