The State of Texas to the Sheriff, or any Constable of said County, Greeting:
You are hereby Commanded to Summon McCumber an Engineer - Now supposed to be on the Indian No. 2

if he be found in your County. to be and  appear before James G. Seawell a justice of the Peace in and for said County, at the Second Ward Market in the city & county of Galveston, Mayors office that 2 April A.D. 1867, at 3 o'clock, P.M., then and there to answer the complaint of O.F. Hensucker in behalf of the state of Texas for an assault with the intent to kill Jno. League on the 6 March A.D. 1867 in the city and county of Galveston state of Texas against the peace & dignity of the state of Texas.

Herein fail not, and due return make of this Will.
