* This apparent discrepancy between the Whole No. and Av. attendance is caused by the fact that 40 pupils were withdrawn from this School May 28th, to form a new one, and the "whole Number" given is the remainder. 

1. Number in Needle Work, if taught in connection with the school. At 207 I St. 44.  At D. St. South 63.  At Georgetown 84. - In all, 191. 

2. Number in Sabbath School, if one is sustained by you. At Union Wesley Chapel, 100.

3. Night and Sabbath Schools within your knowledge not regularly reporting.  There are Sunday schools in all the churches in which day schools are held - also at 207 I St.

4. Amount of charitable donations. At Cor. 4th & L. Sts. 3 Articles of clothing, 1 pr. Shoes. At D. St. South, 25 garments and $200.  At Delaware av. $7.50. At Georgetown $3. = $12.50 Total.

5. Number of persons aided. At Cor. 4th & L. Sts. 3 At D. St. South, 20 At Delaware Av. 40.  At Georgetown 20 - 83

6. Remarks.   Numerous and constant applications for admission are made at both schools on the island, showing the great need of further accommodation in that quarter
