Col. Rutherford, Dear Sir. My school continues much the same as last month, except the night school, which has increased rapidly, till as you see it is nearly as large as the morning session, which is unusual. The young men, as well as the older ones who form the larger part, are very punctual, and regular in their attendance and seem very eager to learn. When I have forty-four present as I have frequently, it keeps me very busy, but they are orderly and respectful, and I have no trouble from either inside or outside the school. Respectfully, Jane E. Clark
Superintendent or Principal Teacher.
