I. Capt Frank Hoslinger, 19th U.S.C.T, having reported to these Head Quarters for duty in Obedience to S.O. No 28' Hd Qrs Dept of the Cumberland, dated Galveston Texas, February 5th 1866, is hereby assigned to duty as Sub. Asst. Comr B.R. &c with Hd Qrs at Beaumont Texas

He will at once enter upon the discharge of his duties as required by law and the regulations of this Bureau,

The. Q.M. Dept will please furnish the necessary transportation

II. Surgeon S. J. W. Mintzer, Surgeon in Chief of this Bureau, will proceed to inspect the Eastern District of this Bureau. Ascertain the general condition of the Freedmen therein, and comply with the requirements of Circular No 14. War Dept. B.R. &c dated Washington, D.C. August 17th 1865,

III. 1st Lieut E. M. Wheelock, Supt of Schools for this Bureau, is hereby directed to inspect the schools in the Eastren Dist of this State and comply with previous instructions from these Hd Qrs
