I. First Lieut. Chas. C. Hardenbrook, 2nd Batt, V.R.C, is hereby relieved from duty as Sub. Asst. Comr Bu. R. F and A.L. at Beaumont Texas and will report for duty to Capt Byron Porter A. A. Genl. U.S. Vols. and Sub. Asst. Comr B. R. &c at Houston, Texas.

II. Brvt Col. J. B. Kiesman. A. A. S. Genl. Bu. R. F/ and A.L. State of Texas, will proceed to Richmond Texas, for the purpose of investigating matters connected with this Bureau at that point.
He is hereby empowered to send for persons and papers necessary to the investigation.  Making a report of the result upon his return.
