I. Wm H. Sinclair (late Brvt. Col. A.A. Genl. Vols) Agent of the Bureau of Refugees F &c. is hereby ordered to proceed to the Posts of Courtney, Milican, Sterling, Marlin, Waco &c in this State for the purpose of inspecting the condition of affairs pertaining to this Bureau at these Points, upon the completion of which duty he will return to these Headquarters, making a written report of the result of such inspection upon his return. 

II. Wm R. Maxwell, is hereby relieved from duty as Agent of this Bureau and will report as Chief Clerk to Lieut S.C. Plummer, 17th U.S. Infty. and A.A.Q.M. & D.O. at these Headquarters to date from Octr 1st 1866

x I. James Lowrie, Agent of this Bureau having reported in Obedience to the S.O. No 144. War Dept. Bu. R.F &c dated Washington, D.C, Sept 25th 1866, is hereby assigned to duty as Sub. Asst. Comr at Moscow, Polk. Co. Texas. 

He will proceed without delay to Moscow and at once enter upon the discharge of his duties as Required by Acts of Congress and regulations of this Bureau. His Compensation will be One Hundred Dollars per Month.
