No. 137.  

I Captain Edward Collin, 17th U.S. Inft. will, with permission of the Post Commander, at once proceed to Brenham, Washington Co., Texas on duty connected with this Bureau under instructions from these Headquarters and will return upon the completion of such duty. 

II Colonel Thos. Bayley, 9th U.S.C.T. is, in accordance with S.O. No. 60, Hd. Qrs. Dept. of the Gulf, dated New Orleans, La. October 30th 1866., hereby relieved from duty in this Bureau as Sub-Asst. Commissioner at Marshall, Harrison Co. Texas. He will turn over to Frank M. Smith, Clerk in this Bureau, all Books, Records, &c. belonging the office at Marshall, after which he will rejoin his Regiment as required by the above order. 

III Frank M. Smith, Clerk of this Bureau at Marshall, Harrison Co. Texas, will receive from Col. Thos Bayley, 9th U.S.C.T. the Records &c. pertaining to the office of 
Sub-Asst. Comr at Marshall and report with said Records &c. at these Headquarters without delay.

I. E.M. Wheelock, Supt of Schools, Bu. R.F &c. State of Texas, will proceed without delay to Columbus, Colorado County, Texas, for the purpose of inspecting &c the Condition of the Schools at place and points "en route" upon the completion of which he will return to these Head Quarters.

II. Surgeon S.J.W. Mintzer, Chief Surgeon Bu. R.F. &c. State of Texas, will proceed to New Orleans, La. on business connected with this Bureau, upon the completion of which he will return to these Headquarters.
