I. David Peebles, Teacher of Freemen's School, will proceed to Matagorda, Texas, and establish a School at that point, after which he will proceed to Indianola and enter upon his duties as Teacher of a School at that point.

I. Mr D. T. Allen, Assistant Superintendent of Schools, Bureau Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, will proceed to Houston, upon business, connected with School Department of this Bureau, upon the completion of which he will return to these Headquarters.

II. In accordance with par. 4., Circular No. 2., current series, War Department Bureau Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, a board of Officers is hereby convened for the purpose of establishing the rents of buildings, hired as Offices, storehouses et cet., for the use of the Bureau in this State. The Board will meet at 10 o'clock A.M. on Thursday, Feb. 28th 1867. at these Headquarters, for the transaction of such business, as may be brought before it. and as often thereafter, as may be necessary.

III. Mr John Williamson is hereby appointed a clerk in this Bureau, under the 3d section of Bureau Act, approved July 16th, 1866, at a salary of one thousand dollars per annum, to date from Feb. 15th 1867.

IV. Mr. John Williamson, clerk of this Bureau, will proceed to Centreville, Leon County, Texas, and 
report for duty to Captain Fred. W. Reinhard, Sub-Assistant Commissioner at that place.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

V. Mrs. Lucella S. Dickinson, Teacher of Freedmen's School, will proceed to Hempstead, and at once enter upon the duties of teacher at that place.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

I. Captain Fred. W. Reinhard, Sub-Assistant Commissioner of Centreville, Leon County, will report at once to these Headquarters, bringing with him Thos. Holleman, freedman, upon business connected with the murders and arson committed upon the Cissino Plantation in Leon County, Texas. Upon the completion of this business they will return to Centreville.
