I. Louis H. Jacobs, Esq. Agent of this Bureau, is hereby assigned to duty at Crockett, Houston County, Texas, as Sub-Assistant Commissioner.

Mr. Jacobs will at once proceed to Crockett and enter upon the discharge of his duties, in accordance with acts of Congress and the regulations of this Bureau.

II. M. Godin, Esq. Agent of this Bureau, is hereby assigned to duty at Livingston, Polk County, Texas, as Sub-Assistant Commissioner, and will at once enter upon the discharge of the duties of his office, in accordance with acts of Congress, and the regulations of this Bureau.

III. Hiram Clark, Esq., Agent of this Bureau, is hereby assigned to duty as Sub-Assistant Commissioner at Clinton, De Witt County, Texas, relieving Lieut A. A. Metzner, V.R.C.

Mr Clark will at once proceed from Victoria, Texas, to Clinton, and assume the duties of his office; in accordance with the regulations governing.

IV. 2d Lieut. Albert A. Metzner, V.R.C. is hereby relieved from duty at Clinton, De Witt County, Texas, and is assigned as Sub-Assistant Commissioner at San Augustine, San Augustine County Texas.

Lieutenant Metzner will transfer to Mr. H. Clark, who will relieve him, all books, records, &c., pertaining to the office at Clinton, after which he will at once proceed to his new station, [[strikethrough]] as [[/strikethrough]] reporting at these Headquarters en route.

V. James Lowrie, late Lieut U.S. Vols., is hereby relieved from duty at Moscow, Polk County, and is assigned as Sub-Assistant Commissioner at Jasper, Jasper County, Texas.

Mr Lowrie will transfer all books, records, &c., pertaining to his office at Moscow to Mr Godin, agent of this Bureau at Livingston, Polk County, Texas., after which he will proceed to hisnew station, ajd assume the duties of his office.

VI H. S. Johnson, Esq., Agent of this Bureau, is hereby assigned to duty as Sub-Assistant Commissioner at Sumpter, Liberty County, Texas, and will at once enter upon the
