I. P. F. Duggan, Agent of this Bureau, is hereby assigned to duty as Sub-Assistant Commissioner, for Brazoria county, Texas, with his office at Columbia.

Mr Duggan will immediately proceed to Columbia Texas, and enter upon the discharge of the duties required, in accordance with the laws and regulations governing this Bureau.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation

II. Mrs. Margaret A. Henderson, and Elizabeth Toomey, Teachers of Freedmen's Schools will proceed to Wharton, Wharton Co, Texas, and report to Col. D. W. C. Brown Sub-Assistant Commissioner at that place, for duty as teachers.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

I. Alexander Ferguson, Esq., is hereby appointed a clerk, in the Bureau of Refugees Freedmen, and Abandoned Lands, for this State, at a salary of $100. per month, to date from June 1st 1867.

Mr Ferguson will at once proceed to Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches Co, Texas, and report to Lieut. E. O. Gibson, Sub-Ass't Commissioner at that place for duty as clerk.

II. Major Ira. H. Evans, Agent of this Bureau, will proceed to Wharton, Texas, and report to Col. D. W. C. Brown, Sub-Ass't Commissioner at that place, for duty. 

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

I. 2d Lieut Alfred T. Manning, V.R.C. is hereby relieved from duty as Sub-Assistant Commissioner, Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, at Cotton Gin, Freestone county, Texas.

Lieut Manning will transfer to Chas. C. Culver, Esq., who will relieve him, all books, records, orders and other property, pertaining to his office, and at once report in person to these Headquarters.
