Mr. Culver will at once proceed to Cotton Gin, Texas, and enter years the discharge of the duties of his office, receipting to Lieut Manning for all property pertaining to the Bureau at that place.

I. Mr. Geo. T. Ruby, Agent of this Bureau will at once proceed on a tour through the counties of Washington, Austin, Bastrop, Colorado and Fort Bend, for the purpose of establishing schools among the freedmen of those counties; upon the completion of which he will return to these  Headquarters, making a written report of the same.

II.  Mathew Young, Esq., Agent of this Bureau, is hereby assigned to duty as Sub-Assistant Commissioner of Bell County, Texas, with his office at Belton.

Mr. Young will immediately proceed to Belton, and enter upon the discharge of the duties of his office, in accordance with the Acts of Congress and the regulations of the Bureau, governing.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

III. Chas. C. Culver, Esq., Sub-Assistant Commissioner at Cotton Gin, Freestone County, Texas, will proceed to Corsicana Texas, for the purpose of adjusting some unsettled business connected with the Bureau at that place; upon completion of which he will return to his station.
