I. D. T. Allen Esq., Assistant Superintendent of Schools, Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, State of Texas, will at once proceed to Houston, Texas, on business, connected with the School Department; upon the completion of which, he will return to these Headquarters.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

I. Mr. George W. Hewitt, Teacher of Freedmen's School, Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen, and Abandoned Lands, State of Texas, will at once proceed to Jasper, Jasper Co, Texas, and report to Lieut Lowrie, Sub-Assistant Commissioner at that place, for duty as teacher.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation to Livingston, Polk County.

II. Mr James Kirkpatrick, Teacher of Freedmen's School, Bureau of R.F.&A.L. State of Texas, will at once proceed to San Augustine, San Augustine County, Texas, and report to Lieut A. A. Metzner, Sub-Assistant Commissioner at that place, for duty as teacher.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

III. The telegraphic order from these Headquarters relieving Col. Thomas Bayley, Agent, Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, at Carthage, Texas, from further duty in this Bureau to take effect June 15th 1867., is hereby confirmed.

IV. Captain Albert Evans, Sub-Assistant Commissioner Bureau of Refugees Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, at Kaufman Texas, is hereby relieved from further duty in this Bureau, he having rendered his resignation, to take effect this date.

V. Capt. Chas. T. Rand, V.R.C., Agent, Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands at Gilmer, Upshur County, Texas, is hereby relieved from duty at that place, and assigned to duty as Ass't Sub-Ass't Commissioner at Jefferson, Marion County, Texas.

Capt Rand will immediately proceed to his new station and assume the duties of his office, reporting to Lieut A. G. Malloy, Sub-Assistant Commissioner at [[strikethrough]] Jefferson [[/strikethrough]] Marshall, Texas.

VI. Ervin Finch, Esq., Agent of this Bureau, is hereby assigned to duty as Sub-Assistant Commissioner of Ellis and Hill Counties, with his office at Milford. 

Mr Finch will at once proceed to his station and enter upon the discharge of the duties of his office in accordance with the Acts of Congress and the regulations of the Bureau governing.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

VII. Capt. Wm H. Rock, Sub-Assistant Commissioner at Richmond, Fort Bend County, Texas, will immediately report at these Headquarters, on business connected with this Bureau.

Rock, Sub-Assistant Commissioner,  Bureau Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, at Richmond Fort Bend County, Texas, having reported at these Headquarters, in compliance with Paragraph VI., Special Orders No. 70. current series, from these Headquarters, will immediately return to his station.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.
