No. 77 

I. George T. Ruby, Esq. Agent of this Bureau, will at once 
make a tour through the counties of Brazos, Robertson, Leon
Freestone, Navarro, Hill, Bosque, McLennan, Falls and Bell, for the purpose of organizing temperance societies and establishing schools among the freed people of those counties: upon the completion the completion of which he will return to these Head Quarters, making a written report of his operations.

II. Mr. James F. Jameson and Mrs. Lillie L. Jameson,
Teachers of Freedmen's School, will at once proceed to Columbus Colorado County, Texas. and report to Enon M. Harris, Esq. Sub Assistant Commissioner at that place, for duty as teachers.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the
necessary transportation.

I. Leave of absence for thirty days is hereby
granted 2' Lieut. Alfred H. Manning, V.R.C - with permission
to visit the North.

II. Isaac Johnson, "late Cap't. U.S. Vols." Agent of this Bureau, having reported at these Head Quarters, in compliance with Par. 2. Special Orders. No. 91 - dated War Department, Bureau Refugees Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, Washington, D.C June 14th 1867 - is hereby assigned to duty as Sub Assistant Commissioner, of the County of Fayette, with his Office at La Grange.

He will at once proceed to his station and enter upon the discharge of the duties of his office in accordance with the Acts of Congress and Regulations governing.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.
