I Miss Jennie. R. Foster. Teacher of Freedmen's School, will proceed to Houston, Harris Co. Texas, and report to the Sub Assistant Commissioner at that place, for duty as Teacher

The Quartermasters Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

II Miss Emma Dayton Teacher of Freedmen's School, will proceed to Houston, Harris Col, Texas, and report to the Sub Assistant Commissioner at that place, for duty as a teacher.
There Quartermasters Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

I. E.M. Wheelock. Esq. having been appointed Superintendent of Schools will on the reception of this order turn over to 1st Lieut. G.M. Bascom, 17 U.S. Infantry: all property and papers pertaining to the office of Sub Asst. Commissioner, at Galveston, and report for duty at these Headquarters.

II. 1st Lieut G.M. Bascom will assume the duties of Sub Asst. Commissioner of Galveston.

III. Mr. Chas Long. Asst Sub Asst. Commissioner, Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands at Sterling, Texas, is hereby relieved from further duty in this bureau.  He will receive no final payments, until he shall have satisfied the disbursing officer, by proper certificates, that he is not indebted to the Government.

IV. Mr. Anthony Bryant. Sub Asst. Commissioner, Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands at Sherman Texas is herby relieved from further duty in this Bureau. He will receive no final payments until he shall have satisfied the disbursing officer by proper certificates, that he is not indebted to the Government.

V. Mr. Philip Howard.  Agent Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands at Meridian Texas is hereby assigned for duty as Sub Asst. Commissioner for the 48th Sub District.
