I. E M. Wheelock. Esq, Superintendent of Schools. Bureau Refugees Freedmen and Abandoned Lands. District of Texas will proceed to Galveston. Texas, on business connected with the school department; upon the completion of which he will return to these Headquarters.

I. Paragraph I Special Orders. No. 99. current series from these Headquarters is hereby revoked.

II. Mr Isaac Johnson. Sub-Assistant Commissioner Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands at La Grange, Texas. is relieved from further duty in this Bureau. to take effect December 21. 1867, he having tendered his resignation, He will receive no final payments until he shall have satisfied the Disbursing Officer by proper certificates. that he is not indebted to the Government

Mr Johnson will transfer to 1st Lieutenant H. S. Howe, 17. U.S. Infantry at Round Top, Texas. all books, records and other property pertaining to his office.

III 1st Lieutenant. H. S. Howe 17. US. Infantry at Round Top. Texas. will assume the duties of Sub. Asst. Commissioner, Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, for the County of 
Fayette. and receipt to Mr Isaac Johnson. Sub Assistant Commissioner for all property pertaining to this Bureau in said County.
