I. Mr. Alex Ferguson, Clerk Bureau Refugees Freedmen. and Abandoned Lands, State of Texas, will report in person at these Headquarters for duty.

The Quartermasters Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

II. The Board of Officers instituted by paragraph II Special Order No 24 series of 1867 is hereby disolved

III. In accordance with Paragraph 4 Circular 2 dated War Department, Bureau of Refugees Freedmen and Abandoned Lands. Washington, February 1, 1867, a board of officers is hereby ordered, for the purpose of establishing the rents of buildings hired as offices, storehouses. &c for the use of the Bureau in this state. The Board will meet at 10 o'clock A.M. Monday. January 6. 1868 at these Headquarters, for the transaction of such business as may be brought before it, and as after thereafter as may be necessary.
