I. Private Philip Burk. Company "C" 26. U.S. Infantry is hereby relieved from further duty at these Headquarters, and will report for duty to the Commanding Officer of his Company.

II. 1st Lieutenant W. M. Van Horne. 17. U.S. Infantry will report to Brevet Lieutenant Colonel W. B Pease Sub-Assistant Commissioner at Houston Texas. for duty as Assistant Sub Assistant Commissioner.

III. Fred W. Reinhard. Sub-Assistant Commissioner, at Crockett, Texas. having reported at these Headquarters on business connected with the Bureau. has permission to delay reporting at his station. seven days from the 14th Inst.

I  Mr Ira H. Evans. Sub. Assistant Commissioner. Bureau of Refugees. Freedmen and Abandoned Lands at Wharton. Texas, having tendered his resignation. is hereby relieved from further duty in this Bureau. to date January 31st 1868. He will receive no final payments until he shall have satisfied the Disbursing Officers by proper certificates that he is not indebted to the Government.
 
Mr Evans will transfer to Mr Nesbit. B. Jenkins who will relieve him) all property belonging to the Bureau for his Sub-District.

II. Mr Nesbit B. Jenkins, Agent Bureau of Refugees. Freedmen. and Abandoned Lands State of Texas. is hereby assigned to duty as Sub Assistant Commissioner for the 5th Sub District. He will at once proceed to Wharton, Texas receipt to Ira H. Evans, (whom he will relieve) for all property pertaining to the Bureau at that place, and enter upon the discharge of the duties of his office, in accordance with the Acts of Congress, and Regulations governing.

III  2nd Lieutenant D. F. Stiles 26. Infantry. Sub Assistant Commissioner at Waco. Texas. will report at these Headquarters on business connected with this Bureau, upon the completion of which he will return to his station.
