The Fifty-eighth Sub. District is hereby discontinued and the County of Bowie is annexed to the Fifty-first Sub. District. 

Mr. W. G. Kirkman Sub. Assistant. Commissioner of Boston, Texas. will transfer the records and other property in his possession pertaining to the Bureau, to Brevet Major George Shorkley, Sub. Assistant Commissioner at Clarksville, Texas, and report at this Headquarters for orders,

I  Mr J. Whitaker, teacher of this Bureau, will proceed from Houston to Columbia, Texas, and report to Mr Arthur. B. Horner. Sub-Assistant Commissioner. at that place for duty.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation,

II. Miss Florence McNeil teacher of this Bureau will proceed from New Orleans, La, to Harrisburg, Texas. Upon her arrival she will report by letter to Mr M. E. Davis, Sub. Assistant Commissioner at Houston, Texas, for assignment to duty at Harrisburg.

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.

III.  The Fifty-third Sub District comprising the County of Grimes, is hereby reestablished and Mr N. H. Randlett Sub Assistant Commissioner at Bryan City. Texas is hereby assigned to duty as Sub Assistant Commissioner of the same, with his office at Anderson. Upon the arrival of Company "K" Fifteenth Infantry at Bryan City, Mr Randlett will transfer records and orders pertaining to the Twentieth Sub District to the Commanding Officer of the Post at Bryan City and with the records of the Fifty-third Sub District, proceed to his station. 
 
IV  In compliance with circular No 3. dated
Headquarters District of Texas, February 1st 1867. the Commanding Officer of the Post of Bryan City, Texas. will assume of Sub. Assistant Commissioner for the Twentieth Sub District.
