No 60 I So much of Paragraph III Special Orders No 42. current series. from this Headquarters as reads, "1st Lieutenant Henry Norton. Seventeenth Infantry" is so amended as to read "The Commanding officer. Post of Dallas, Texas" II Mr B. F Hardcastle, Teacher of this Bureau will proceed to Columbus, Texas, and report to Mr Louis W. Stevenson, Sub. Assistant Commissioner for duty as teacher. The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation. III Rev. Joseph Welch. Superintendent of Education, Bureau of Refugees. Freedmen and Abandoned Lands. State of Texas, will proceed to Waco. Texas. on business connected with the School Department; upon the completion of which he will return to his station, The Quartermasters' Department will furnish the necessary transportation. IV The Quartermasters Department will furnish to Mr David S. Beath, Dub. Assistant Commissioner of this Bureau transportation from Austin to his station - Bastrop, Texas.
