Mr DeWitt C. Brown, Agent. Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, State of Texas, having tendered his resignation is hereby relieved from further duty in this Bureau. He will receive no final payment. until he shall have satisfied the Disbursing Officer by proper certificates. that he is not indebted to the Government. 

The Quartermaster's Department will furnish Mr Brown transportation to Galveston Texas, the place of his entry into service.
