Gentlemen:-
I am in receipt of your favor of the 12th instant, advising me of the arrival from London of a case containing silver boxes and gods, and stating the amount of duty on same to be $55.30, for which I have the pleasure in handing you New York draft herewith. Kindly receipt the accompanying voucher and return same promptly. I also enclose owner's declaration covering this shipment. 

Will you kindly pay the duty on same and have it forwarded as expeditiously as possible via American Express Company, consigned to me as follows:-
