Grand Larceny.

Complaint-
That the Defendant stole from Plaintiff, a shot gun, watch and vest, worth seventy-five or eighty Dolls.
Addressed letter to N. J. Nelson, Esq., J.P., asking him to issue a warrant for the arrest of the Defendant.
No warrant issued, the offense having been committed in Bolivar Co.
Having no troops to aid me in my duties, the offender effected his escape.

Breach of Contract.

Complaint-
That the Defendant drove plaintiff from his plantation, having just discharged him without payment,-
That plff. has an interest in the crop, and right tobe permitted to continue his work in it until gathered.
Letter to Deft., requesting him to take the man back, or pay him for his portion in the crop.
Parties present, and admitted by the Plff. that he had disobeyed orders.
Agreed by the parties that Plff. should leave, and when the crop was gathered, should receive his share for the time he put in it.

Breach of Contract.

Complaint- 
That Deft. being foreman of the squad to which Plff. belongs, dismissed him from his labor, without cause or authority, and drove him from the Plantation.
Letter to Defendant, informing him that he would not be permitted to dismiss persons jointly interested with him in the crop, and directing him to take Plff. back.
Plff. received back on the plantation, and complaint withdrawn.

Breach of Contract.

Complaint- 
That Defendant has discharged her from the squad to which she belonged, and of which he was the Head man, without cause or authority, and without payment.
Letter to Deft., informing him that he had no right under the contract to discharge, and that he would not be permitted to discharge her, she having an  in the crop. If properly discharged, she was entitled to a proportion of the crop equal to the time she had labored.
Agreed by the Parties that Plff. should leave, but should have her share of the crop when gathered.
