Breach of Contract.

Complaint:- That Mr. Patterson, Defendant's manager, had discharged Plaintiff, without cause or authority. That Plff. had been employed by Deft. for one year from Jan. 11 1867. That she has labored for him six months, and has rec'd. no pay. That Deft's manager refused to pay her.
Letter to Deft., to revoke Mr. Patterson's action, or pay the Plff. her wages.
Sept 9th. Mr. Patterson present, and asks to have an examination. Trial for 11th inst.
Claim: Services from Mar. 1 to Sept. 6—  $37.20

Complaint: That he has been discharged from labor and driven from the plantation of Deft., by Mr. Patterson, his overseer, without cause or authority, and that said Patterson refuses to pay him for his services.
Letter to Deft., asking that Plaintiff may be settled with fairly, and paid.
Sept. 9th, Mr. Patterson appeared for Deft. and asked a trial. Trial set for Monday, 11th inst.
Sept 11: Cause tried, and the following result obtained:
Claim:- Eight mos. services, from Jan. 1 to Sept 1. at $12 per month.  $96.00
Credit: By bill of goods—  42.79

Breach of Contract.

Complaint:- That he entered into a contract with Mr. Hancock, with others, to raise a crop of cotton and corn in the year 1867. That he has labored faithfully until now in that crop, for a share of the crop. That Deft., Mr. Hancock's manager, now that the crop is made, has discharged him without pay, without cause.
Letter to Deft., pointing out the rights of Plff., and suggesting that he be permitted to return and finish his crop, or be settled with and his interest in the crop determined.

Breach of Contract.

Complaint:- That he entered into a contract with Mr. Hancock, Jan. 1867, to labor with others in the production of a crop of corn and cotton; that he labored in said crop until a few days ago, when he was discharged by Deft., without cause, and without settlement.
Letter to Deft., informing him of the rights of the Plff., and that he must receive him back to labor in his crop, or settle with him in a fair way, and determine his present interest in the crop, and pay him for that or his labor at a fair price.
