| 1863. June. | Tilman Curboo. (white.) | Virgina Harrison, F.W.C. 16 years old, | That said Tilman C. was supposed to have killed the colored girl, because she would not comply, & satisfy desires of his- In that he had said, that the next time she refused, & would not give up to him, he would kill her.
Fanny Tison, mother of the colored girl (murdered), appeared at my office the 27th of Nov, & made complaint substantially as above, I refered her to County Judge, & a warrant was issued, but not yet served, on Tilman C. who is living in Country (and since married.) 
The Judge informs me, that Tilman C. was, let off on Bond ($1000.00) & that Aug Term Dist Court 1866. Evidence "over" |
