Stephens Hawkins, Broke jail, who with Juan Basquez, and D W Pickle, alias A J Light, made their escape, J Basquez was recaptured and returned to jail. Pickle, refusing to surrender and ran, but was shot by the Sheriffs Party, and killed.

S Hawkins, colored, yet not captured - age about 22 or 23 years, rather slender built - a mulatto.
