Andrew J. Bell not having paid neither the freedman nor the freedmans former master and owner he has been directed by me to pay the sum of $156 to the freedman thereby cancelling the work given by Bell to Amos of the date of hire on Dec. 25/64.

Office hours as on last report - have not been absent.
"State the number of Troops at your Post and the necessity for the same; whether or not the freed people would be secure if they were removed; in other words will the civil authorities protect them and give them justice; &c., &c."

One company of infantry. The freedmen would in my opinion be secure if the compy. was removed.
