| 1868. feby 21 | Perry White Citizen Calhoun Co. | Paul Mumford Freedman | This freedman was shot by Perry inflicting a severe wound in the right arm. The affray was occasioned by the skinning of a dead Beef 
The Civil Authorities have neglected to take action in the case and I wrote to Hd Qrs Dist of Texas for authority to arrest Perry. 
The com was retd and I was directed to have the Affidavits of the witnesses made in the case and should the Civil Authorities then refuse to take action to forward the papers in the case Hd Qrs.
The matter is still in progress awaiting Affidavits |
