Testimony before examining Court.

State of Texas vs. H.[[strikethrough]] M. [[/strikethrough]] H. Frost

John Diggs states Mr Frost came into the quarters & told Baylass to go on to work. Baylass told him that he was going. Mr. Frost said that "all my hands have gone to work" & Baylass said no there were not gone for "some of them are here"  Baylass had his mules & started to work when some words passed between him and Mr. Frost when Mr. Frost struck him three times with a piece of iron  Baylass then said that he was going to the Capt. Mr. Frost replied that he did not care the he'd go with him  Mr. Frost & Baylass then went on together until they got to the first creek, when Mr. Frost left him & came back to the house  that is the last I saw of them together.
