| 1868 Mar 7 | Ned Wingate Jr. White | H T Driskill. White | Wingate attackd Driskill in the streets of Crockett on the aforesaid day and shot him down killing him instantly.  Wingate was arrested by the Sheriff of Houston Co upon a charge of murder and is now undergoing trial before the District Court.  Judge Earl presiding. |
| Mar 12 | Windhaus Bros White | Jas A Hall fmc | Horse stealing, The Windhaus Bros. were arrested by the civil authorities upon complaint of Jas. A. Hall fmc and tried before the Dist Court, and the parties were acquitted by the Jury. |

| 1868 March 14. | Angus Thomson f.m.c. | Simon Wilson f.m.c. | The parties had a quarrel and Angus Thomson killed Simon Wilson with a fence rail.  Thomson made his escape. |
