"Report the disposition and feeling of the white people towards the freed people, as expressed by words and actions." 
I think that as a general thing the feeling between the White and Freed People are not to say very unpleasant. But with a minority class or, a portion of the Whites. The Freedmen certainly fare badly. expressed both by words and actions. 

EDUCATION.
"Report the feeling upon the subject of education; what steps have been taken to promote the same; what efforts the freed people are making in that direction, and in what manner they may be assisted, &c." 

The School has been at vacation for about one week, or ten days. This being the end of the first session of said school. on the night of the 23rd inst. the School house at this place which was built by the Freed-man, about six months ago, was entered by some unknown person or persons and conciderably damaging the same, Damages amounting about to the distruction of the Building. Breaking down one corner of the building, But I think will be repaired,
