| The case of Mariam Chapman continued |   | when the white men fired at Chapman he and some other fm. of the family returned the fire and shot John Green in the arm from the effects of which Green will probably die.  Another man Dr Lancaster living in the neighborhood was found to be very severely if not fatally wounded in the abdomon.  Lancaster says that he went to see if the wounded man and that his revolver dropped from its scabbard and he was wounded by accident. |
