Wm. H. Lawrence JP aloud a man by the name of DM Butler to sues L.W. Whit F.MC hoom he Butler owed for two months work for forfiture of contract which was only verbil and only by the month and Lawrence gave a judgment aganst the Freedman for mor than his wages for damages

and I look upon Lawrence as an impediment and should be removed and a good man in his place
