Charles L. Freer Esq.,

Dear Sir;
I have the honor to writing you that my father has written me that you had visit him in Japan and he ask me to thank you thousand times for your kind visit and purchasing. I am very sorry I was not at that time. I have been in this city since October and I am at present carring on temporarly my business at #121 East 27th Street N.Y.
I think you bought back quite many interesting things from your journey. If you allow me to see your great collection I should very much like to call on you in your city, but very sorry to say it will be quite impossible as I am about to have a public sale of Antique Chinese rugs and porcelain also interesting potteries which keeps me very busy and I expect to go home as soon as the sale get over.
Let me think you for your kindness to my father and I will be greatly obliged
