My dear Sir:

I am very much obliged to you for the prompt action taken by you relative to the eleven makimono cases, and for your kind letter of the 18th instant, enclosing report of your Superintendent. I shall be glad to hear what you find in regard to the broken glass in the large show case which was made in three sections.

With your letter and the full report of your Superintendent before me, it will be a very easy matter for me to take up with the Biele Company the matter of this order.

Again thanking you, believe me,

Sincerely yours,
(Signed) George W. Alger
