Decorated on one side, on a ground of finely chiseled lines, with the letters Φ Z W H C, meaning Z w n "life" Φ w s = "light." On the opposite side an inscription in small Greek letters reading,

The one-half of a circular piece.
Decorated in low relief with figures of Christ,
the Virgin holding a child in her lap and two Apostles standing.
Above the heads of the apostles a flying angel.
The exterior is covered with rich blue, plum color and gold iridescence.
Height, 2 3/8".
Width, 1 1/2".
