Messrs. Biele & Co.

-2-

and one half months to hear from Mr. Freer whether or not he wishes to accept this show-case as it is, I would appreciate it very much if you would write me. to the effect that if this show-case does not meet with Mr. Freer's approval, you stand ready to make it right, i. e., in accordance with the order Mr. Freer gave you, "96" long glass."

I note that the pottery cases will be shipped in a day or two; that the makimono cases, owing to difficulty and delay in getting out the large moulding for table, are not quite ready but that you will have them ready next week.

You do not answer my inquiry as to when the table for the small metal case, which you made for Mr. Freer last Spring and which case is now in Detroit, will be shipped to Detroit. As we shall require this table in the near future, shipment of it to Detroit should be made soon.

With return of the Compliments of the Season, I remain,
Very truly yours,
(Signed) George W. Alger
