Mr. W.A. Gosline,
C/o Gosline & Barbour,
Toledo, O.

My dear Sir:

Your favor of 15th inst. addressed to Mr. Hecker came in this morning’s mail and I have just wired you, “Your letter fifteenth to Mr. Hecker received this morning. He is now in Rome. Have written.”, which I now confirm. Mr. Hecker left for Europe Jan. 10. He is now in Rome, and in a cable received from him this morning he states that on the 21st inst. he leaves there for Egypt. The length of his stay is uncertain, but in no event is he likely to be home before Mar. His son Frank and daughter Louise are with him. The rest of his family are in Detroit and are all enjoying good health. I will hand your letter to Mrs. Hecker this evening, and she will probably write Mrs. Gosline.

Yours very truly,
C.L. Freer
