March 2, 1894.

Mr. M. W. O’Brien,
City.

My dear Sir:

Permit me to introduce to you Mr. Henry Carew of this city, whom I have known for ten years or more, during which time he has done a great deal of work for our various companies and also for both Mr. Hecker and myself personally. He did all the brick work for our Peninsular Dep’t, and I am pleased to say has given satisfaction not only in that instance but in many others as well. He desired to bid on the building you are to erect for [[?]]son, Moore & Co., and I take much pleasure in commending him to your courteous attention.

Yours truly,
C. L. Freer
