Mr. T. J. Staley,
C/o National Printing & Engraving Co.,
346 Wabash Ave., Chicago, Ill.

Dear Sir:

Your personal letter of Feb. 25 addressed to Mr. Hecker was received and in his absence opened by me. Mr. Hecker left for a foreign trip early in January and is now in Egypt. The time of his return is yet unsettled. He may possibly be here early in May or perhaps not until some time next fall. Your communication will be sent to Mr. Hecker by mail, and upon the receipt thereof he will doubtless reply direct to you.

Yours respectfully,
C. L. Freer
