205 (X) April 12, 1894. Mr. James C. Biddle, Philadelphia, Pa. Dear Sir: I know the Wyandotte & Detroit RIver (River) Railway Company’s property. Having made a partial examination of it and its equipment, it seems to me a first-class property and extends through a territory which makes the securities predicated thereon a good investment. I know well the owners of the road, Messrs. Swift and Hendrie. They are men of excellent standing in the community, and have built the road, as I am informed, with the intention of holding the stock therein so long as the charter of the road runs. The bonds are regarded in this market very favorably, and I have no personal interest in the property. Yours truly, C. L. Freer
