Mr. Hecker goes to New York to-morrow, Saturday, evening and will leave New York some time on Tuesday for Kingston, spending Tuesday night and Wednesday there. He will wire you from New York, so please meet him at the train and take care of him. Reserve a good room for him at the Eagle.

Nothing especially new here. Business is very dull, but we shall build the 500 L.S. and M.S. furniture cars during August.

Maggie sprained her fore shoulder a few days ago and went slightly lame. Day before yesterday Dr. Joy blistered the shoulder and it seems to have benefitted her, and he thinks that in ten days she will be fit to drive again.
