Mr. T. J. Bryant,
Big Indian, Ulster County,
New York. Paid Aug. 4/94

Dear Mr. Bryant:

I have your telegram [[note]] = Paid Aug 4/94 [[/note]] of July 25, in reply to mine of the 23, in which you state that Parker has one vacant room large enough for two boarders, and thank you very much for the information.

The Rev. Wallace Radcliffe and his wife of Detroit, friends of mine wish to visit the upper Esopus Valley and thought they would prefer to stop at Parkers’, hence my telegram.

I have sent your message to Doctor Radcliffe that he might communicate directly with either yourself or Mr. Parker.

We are having very hot weather in the west this summer and I would like very much to spend a few weeks in your locality, but there is no prospect of my doing so at the present.
With personal regards I am

Very truly yours,
CL Freer
