341 (332) Sept. 17, 1894. Dear Mr. Macbeth: I have your kind note of the 15th inst. I shall arrive in New York on Thursday afternoon next. My train is due at 2:30, but as it is frequently late, I think it would be much wiser to count upon seeing Mr. Babbott on Friday, and as you say that 3:30 in the afternoon will meet his convenience, I will arrange my matters accordingly and call at your store at 3:30 P.M., Friday next, 21st inst. Thanking you for your kindness in the matter. I remain, Yours very truly, Charles L Freer Mr. Wm. Macbeth, 237 Fifth Ave., New York.
