[[?]] Mr. Robert Sinclair after his hasty trip [[?]], and he expressed himself as well-pleased with [[?]] to [[?]] trip both instructive and entertaining. The [[?]] whom you [[?]]aged for me proved very faithful and accom[[?]] me Madras to the north of your district.

I shall be most happy to recommend you to any of my friends who may in future visit Southern India, and assure you that I shall long remember the excellent work you did for me.
