Mr. Abbott H. Thayer,
Scarborough-on-the-Hudson, N.Y.

Dear Thayer:

Your several recent letters reached me in a bunch after an absence of practically two weeks. I am in the midst of many things to-day and have only time to send you herewith inclosed draft for $1,000.00 as requested. Voucher and note also go herewith, which please sign and return.

I am very glad indeed that you are all well and that your work is progressing so much to your satisfaction. As soon as I can get myself outside of the present rush of work, I will write you more fully and particularly concerning the suggestions you made regarding repainting the central figure of your large picture.

With kindest regards and best wishes for a Merry Christmas to you all, I remain,

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
