Mr. John Scott,
45 Wall St., New York.

Dear Sir:

Your personal letter of Feb. 19 addressed to Mr. Hecker came and in his absence was opened by me. Mr. Hecker is spending the winter in the Orient and is not expected home until about June 1. I visit New York frequently and now expect to be there the latter part of next week, when I will do myself the pleasure of calling upon you and at which time we can at least exchange some views on the matter referred to.

Yours truly,
Charles L. Freer
