Dec. 22, 1893.

Mr. W.M. Barnum,
10 Wall St., New York.

Dear Sir:

Your letter of Dec. 5 was received during my absence and forwarded to me in New York. While there I had the stock owned by Mr. Hecker and myself in the Lucy mine transferred as suggested. It was my intention to have called upon you while in New York, but pressure of other matters prevented.

Thanking you for the suggestions in the matter, I remain,

Yours very truly,
C.L. Freer
